The book of September is a translation, of which subject is unfortunate Chechnya (Chechenistan). Author is American Thomas Goltz and publisher is Istanbul Bilgi University Press. Total 326 pages, dated 2005 November.
The main subject of the book is some events occured during first Chechnya war. A small border town, Samaski (means land of deers) was a scene of massacre on 7-8th of April, 1995, and author was in the town by coincidence during this event. Focusing on this very event, author also mentions the Chechnya war, the actors and victims of the war. |
